With some trepidation we bought several items in their Galle Fort shop. Were we paying the right money? Were the gems as we were sold? Were the gems of good quality? On return to the UK one of the small stones dropped out of a diamond ring. "Well that's that", we thought. We will just have to put that one down to experience. However my wife felt it was worth a try to email the shop. An instant response and we were asked to send the ring back. It has just been returned today with the diamond replaced, no cost! Now that is good service, thank you.

I was in Aida Gems in Bentota Sri Lanka 2nd December,they started from gem musium, workshop and gem cutting process. my intention is not to purchase anything but the way they assist, service, presentations my mind force into buy something ,so ended with nice blue sapphire ring for my wife, she wasn’t with me when i buy that. she was very happy. also i should say about the price it is very reasonable. How did I come to know about a reasonable price when i back home, I went for insurance its said 35% more.

Having travelled extensively often buying local gems & jewellery specific to the country we are very pleased to recommend Aida Gems as being extremely knowledgeable, helpful , with a full range at very competitive prices but most of all is their pride in their good reputation as honest jewellers. We have bought from them a few times over the years , all items when assessed at home were exactly as sold to us and way below their insurance valuation , a special thanks to Sampath the manager of their Galle Fort branch.
